08FAQ

Questions, answered.

Quick answers about our cybersecurity services and CCST Academy. Can’t find yours? Ask us directly.

Cybersecurity services

What is VAPT, and does my business need it?

VAPT stands for Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing. We look for security weaknesses in your websites, apps, APIs, networks or cloud setup, then safely try to exploit them the way a real attacker would. If you handle customer data, take payments online or run important systems, regular VAPT helps you find and fix problems before attackers do.

How long does a penetration test take?

It depends on what we’re testing. A single website is very different from a full network. After a short call to understand your systems, we’ll agree the scope and a clear timeline with you before any work starts.

Will testing disrupt our live systems?

We plan every engagement with you first: what’s in scope, when testing happens and what’s off-limits. That way testing is controlled and your day-to-day operations are protected.

Is our information kept confidential?

Yes. Everything we see and find during an engagement is treated as confidential and shared only with you. We are an ISO 27001 certified company, the international standard for information security management.

We think we’ve been hacked. What should we do?

Contact us straight away by phone or WhatsApp. Until then, avoid wiping or reinstalling affected devices, because that can destroy the evidence needed to understand what happened. Disconnecting an affected device from the network is usually a sensible first step.

CCST Academy (EdTech)

Who are the courses for?

Students and anyone curious about a career in cybersecurity. The fundamentals course is beginner-friendly. Please check each course’s details and prerequisites in the app before enrolling.

Are the courses only in Telugu?

Yes. CCST Academy courses are taught in Telugu, so native-language learners can focus on the skills instead of translating.

How do I access the courses?

Courses are available only through our mobile apps: CCST Academy on Google Play for Android and MyInstitute on the App Store for iPhone and iPad. Each course can be used on one device at a time.

Can I get a refund on a course?

Course fees are non-refundable, so please review the course details, prerequisites and content before purchasing.

Do you run workshops at colleges?

Yes. We deliver guest talks and hands-on cybersecurity workshops for universities, colleges and student communities. Get in touch to plan one for your campus.
